BLADE 6 TRIPLE CORE CARBON: What has been improved compared to the previous Blade 5 Dual Core model?

• The Blade 6 Triple Core Carbon features three cores or layers, which provide 3 different functions. The outermost layer consists of medium-density pressed sisal plant fibers. This slightly softer top layer has less resistance and is designed to allow easier penetration of the dart tips. The second layer consists of extremely densely pressed sisal plant fibers and provides strong grip for the dart tip. The third layer consists of carbon fibers and, in conjunction with the sisal plant fibers, increases the durability of the dartboard.
• The new number ring made of laser-milled metal ensures a clear design of the numbers and simplifies concentration.
• The bullseye has been further improved. The so-called 'Density Control' in the bullseye ensures improved durability and more grip for your darts. In addition, WINMAU has managed to reduce the wire thickness of both bullseye metal rings by another 25% without compromising material strength.

Further technical details of the WINMAU BLADE 6 TRIPLE CORE dartboard:

• New wiring results in a 14% smaller surface area of the metal spider, thus providing a larger scoring area of 9 mm² in the doubles and 6 mm² in the triples.
• The blade angle of the metal wires (spider) has been reduced from 90° to 60°.
• The metal spider lies even closer to the board's sisal base. This means the distance from the sisal surface to the highest point of the wires or metal spider has been reduced.
• The steel quality of the metal spider and particularly the bullseye rings has been further improved. Specifically, the tensile strength of the steel has been improved by 25%.

All these improvements lead to fewer bounce-outs, less wear and tear on darts, improved durability - and thus sustainable playing enjoyment!

Triple-Core technology ensures reduced density in the outer core. This results in reduced surface resistance and thus a secure throw with a low bounce-out rate and higher scores.

Thanks to the Rota-Lock system, the dartboard can be securely and firmly attached to almost any type of surface within minutes and rotated without problems.

Technical progress for the best dartboard in the world! The dartboard with the fewest bounce-outs now even has galvanized lamellas, an angled 25-ring, a black field without staples, and a very clean scoring field.
