BLADE 5 DUAL CORE: What has been improved compared to its predecessor Blade 4 Dual Core? 

• New wiring results in a 14% smaller metal spider surface, thus providing a larger scoring area of 9 mm² in the doubles and 6 mm² in the triples.
• The blade angle of the metal spider has been reduced from 90° to 60°.
• The metal spider sits even closer to the sisal base on the board. This means the distance from the sisal surface to the highest point of the wires or metal spider has been reduced.
• The steel quality of the metal spider and especially the bullseye rings has been further improved. Specifically, the tensile strength of the steel has been improved by 20%.

All these improvements lead to fewer bounce-outs, improved durability - and thus sustained playing enjoyment!

The Dual-Core technology ensures reduced density in the outer core. This provides reduced surface resistance, resulting in a secure throw with a low bounce-out rate and higher scores.

The more densely packed inner core increases resistance beneath the surface, absorbing excess kinetic energy and improving durability. The outer core made of pure sisal with a scratch-resistant playing surface ensures good visibility, increased hit chances, and easier alignment.

Thanks to the Rota-Lock system, the dartboard can be securely and firmly mounted on almost any type of surface within minutes and rotated without problems.
